Annual Pack 65 Popcorn Sales!

Below is a reminder on some key information on popcorn sales this year.  Please contact Dan Clough (; Mobile: 503-3286) with any questions.
  • What:  Pack 65 Annual popcorn sales!  Last year, participating scouts averaged several hundred dollars in sales with one scout awarded Hershey Bears tickets from the Council for achieving over $1,000 in sales!!!!  Each scout is asked to target an individual "shoot for the stars" sales order of $200.  As this target may be a little high for first timers and younger scouts, we are asking that all scouts "Do Their Best" to participate and raise money for the Pack (buy out contribution is available - please contact Dan Clough for details).  Proceeds from sales support fun and important annual events such as Winter Camp, Family Camp, and the Blue & Gold Dinner.
  • Who:  All Pack 65 Scouts
  • How:  Individual "Take Orders."  If you need popcorn sales (or prize) forms, please contact Dan Clough or your Den leader.  Checks for individual sales are to be made payable to "Hershey Pack 65."  Remember - Pack 65 is again participating in the prize option, so total sales revenue for each scout counts towards their award and selection of great prizes.  Popcorn Show & Sells - Pack 65 is selling at two locations this year, Sam's Club on Rt. 322 (9/15, 9/22) and Lowes in Palmyra (10/13),  The first two events are already behind us and were a great success.  Scouts participating in these events generated over $800 in total sales and earned Pack "popcorn credit!"  Several hundred dollars of the proceeds of these sales will go directly to the Pack.  Great work!
  • When:  Popcorn sales run from the start of the scouting year in September through October 15th.  All Scout Popcorn forms/orders and payment must be received by Dan Clough by 10/15!  Your Den leaders will help coordinate getting all order forms and checks in on time.  Note that inventory and orders to the Council are made later this week for the whole Pack, so we will not be able to fill orders for forms received after 10/15.  Order distribution to Pack 65 will take place on November 9.  Pack distribution to the Dens will take place at a time/location TBA near this date.
